CHSA Finals

2008 CHSA Finals - Qualified Divisions

We are pleased to announce that as of Monday, May 12, 2008, the following CHSA Divisions have qualified for the 2008 CHSA Finals with having 10 riders/horses having more than 25 points:

1. Short Stirrup Hunter (19 riders)
2. Pre-Children's Hunter (17 riders)
3. Walk-Trot Hunt Seat Equitation (16 riders)
4. Walk-Trot Hunt Seat Pleasure (13 riders)

Remember the Top 20 riders/horses who have 25 points or more will qualify and be invited to the 2008 CHSA Finals, except for the CHSA Medal riders - we take the top 30.

• Sunday, August 17, 2007 - Last date to qualify for CHSA Finals.  The last show to qualify will be the Pines Farm Horse Show held on Sunday, August 17, 2008.
• Monday, August 25, 2007 - Qualified Finals Riders/Horses announced in CHSA Finals web site and sent email invitations.
• Thursday, September 4, 2007 - Order of Go posted on CHSA Finals web site
• Sunday, September 7, 2007 - CHSA Finals Horse Show

Mystic is moving dirt!

Mystic Valley Hunt Club has started work on the two new rings that we will be using for the CHSA Finals on September 7, 2008.  The new jumper ring will be 225' x 325' and the new schooling ring, next to the main hunter ring, will be 125' x 225'.  We should have lots of space this coming year. Thank you Mystic Valley!

The 2008 CHSA Finals will be held Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Mystic Summer Festival.

Mystic Summer Festival Raises over $17,000!

 
The Mystic Summer Festival Horse Show, which hosted the 2007 CHSA Finals, is a benefit show for the neonatal intensive care unit at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. In 2007, the Mystic Summer Festival was able to donate over $17,000 to the neonatal intensive care unit. This is a record amount for the show to be able to donate and Mystic would like to thank all of the exhibitors that make this donation possible. We hope to break the record again in 2008!
