Mystic Summer Festival Raises over $17,000!

 
The Mystic Summer Festival Horse Show, which hosted the 2007 CHSA Finals, is a benefit show for the neonatal intensive care unit at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. In 2007, the Mystic Summer Festival was able to donate over $17,000 to the neonatal intensive care unit. This is a record amount for the show to be able to donate and Mystic would like to thank all of the exhibitors that make this donation possible. We hope to break the record again in 2008!

Governor Jodi Rell proclaims CHSA Finals Day!

Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell  has proclaimed Sunday, September 9, 2007 as Connecticut Horse Shows Association (CHSA) Finals Day in the State of Connecticut!

Final Points Are Being Tabulated!!

UPDATE! Points have just been updated and the only show not entered is Avon Valley (Aug 2 horse show). Once we receive and process Avon Valley we will post the Top 20 CHSA Finalists. (Tuesday, Aug 13)

George Jensen, The CHSA Points Master, is busy tabulating all of the final show results so we can publish the CHSA Finals Top 20 Qualifiers for our 12 qualified divisions.  Invitations will be sent by email and Wednesday, August 29, is the deadline to return the entry forms with a prepaid check. Quarter Horse Registration

ATTENTION QUARTER HORSE HUNTER UNDER SADDLE COMPETITORS

As we approach the 1^st Annual CHSA Finals we are very excited with the turnout exhibited in our various divisions.  It appears that the Quarter Horse Hunter Under Saddle division may have enough qualifiers to have this division compete at this year’s Finals in September.

As you know, it is stated in the CHSA Rule Book that the Quarter Horse Hunter Under Saddle classes are open to horses registered with the American Quarter Horse Association and are to be shown under their full registered names with papers available for examination at anytime.

Would you please submit a copy of your horse’s AQHA registration papers for the CHSA files by August 9, 2007.
